Bonds
When you decide to invest in bonds, you then need to decide what kinds of bond investments are right for you. Most people don't realize it, but the bond market offers investors a lot more choices than one would think. Depending on your goals, your tax situation and your risk tolerance, you can choose from municipal, government, corporate, mortgage-backed or asset-backed securities and international bonds. Within each broad bond market sector you will find securities with different issuers, credit ratings, coupon rates, maturities, yields and other features. Each one offers its own balance of risk and reward.
Stocks
A type of security that signifies ownership in a corporation and represents a claim on part of the corporation's assets and earnings. There are two main types of stock: common and preferred.
- Common Stock:
Usually entitles the owner to vote at shareholders' meetings and to receive dividends. - Preferred Stock:
Generally does not have voting rights, but has a higher claim on assets and earnings than the common shares. For example, owners of preferred stock receive dividends before common shareholders and have priority over common stock holders in the event that a company goes bankrupt and is liquidated. *Dividends are not guaranteed and must be authorized by the company's board of directors.
He then uses the personal discovery meeting to uncover and develop your needs to incorporate strategies like:
- Tax-Advantaged Investing:
Help reduce your tax liability and let more of your money work for you - Retirement Planning:
Design an investment strategy to help you towards your retirement goals - Estate Planning:
Preservation of wealth from generation to generation or any other financial goals you may have!!
